I felt like he let's the ball run across him instead of hitting it early as there's a huge gap to aim at.

I was made up he took that shot on 2nd half, took responsibility, gave himself half a yard and didn't half catch it sweet.

I'm a massive critic of his, always have been but today I thought he eas excellent 2nd half. He'd put a proper shift in 2nd half against Newcastle and he was still grafting today during the important moments so fair play to him.

Need him to be at the top of his game next weekend

He's a lovely player to watch when he's on his game. A bit of a throwback to the type of wide players which were commonplace in the 80s and 90s

Hasn't always been my favourite because of his limitations (lack of explosive pace, a right foot which is only there to stand on, etc), but the manager knows how to get the most out of him and that left foot he has is delightful.

Dwight McNeil looked more like his old self yesterday; he put in a very good shift and made things happen for us. What a great pass for DCL to run onto that led to our first goal.
