I’m not sure how fast McNeil is, but I’d rather go for a speedy winger who gets goals. McNeil doesn’t have a great goal scoring record, neither does gray or Townsend. Putting huge pressure on DCL & Richarlison

I think McNeil sounds more legit than a Bailey if you think we'll be going 433 - Richarlison doesn't create he scores goals therefore McNeil would be more of a creator.

Like Liverpool Firmino isn't really used for his goals in the 3 up top its mainly Salah/Mane.

I would prefer Bailey myself but think we want someone who can get balls into the box from outwide for DCL which Richarlison doesn't do.

Young, English , already established in the Premiership and a very good player.

There is no way he will be signed for 30m or anything close to it.
The only option may be a player or two in part exchange.

Liverpool paid 4mil down and are paying 12 this summer. Arsenal I think paid 12 down for Pepe. A lot of deals are paid over the length of the contract.

Yeh I get that £72m isn't paid up front but Burnley aren't going to accept £4m down this Summer for their star attacker are they.

Agree with this we have so few players in our team that actually score goals it's untrue, we need a bigger contribution from the midfield and wide areas and PACE.

No Burnley have said they want 20 up front. By all accounts Liverpool agreed a higher long term fee so they could pay the small amount up front. I just think there are deals out there. Maybe more likely from abroad. Where teams haven’t got the big TV deals. And even getting 5/10mil in could be a help to some of these teams
