Great news if true. It's all over Twitter, but not been confirmed by the club yet.

He's been terrific with the Under 18s and has clearly got something about him as a coach.

I do wonder if this means Graeme Jones might be going at the end of the season (to Swansea?), and Martinez is grooming Jones' successor in Big Dunc.

I can just imagine the halftime scenes.
We've played poorly in the first 45 minutes and trail some crap team 2-0. Martinez walks into the dressing room, looks around and doesn't say a thing. Instead, he stands aside and Dunc walks in. He, too, doesn't say anything, but the look on his face "encourages" the lads on to a 3-2 win.

Really interesting. I was never the biggest Dunc fan in the world tbh, and especially when we first made him a coach, I really didn't think it'd be something he'd be good at. But by all accounts, he's absolutely shone.

By all accounts, Jones is the 'bad cop' to Martinez' 'good cop' in their managerial partnership.

If Jones does go, maybe Dunc is being brought in to fill the 'bad cop' role to keep everyone on their toes.

Yeah, if Mirallas or someone is being a bit gash a couple of swift punches from Dunc will soon make him play better.

Lol I don't think that's what being a 'bad cop' entails. Being an intimidating figure probably does though.

Dunc has been absolutely brilliant with the Under 18s and is clearly a very promising coach.
