If Dunc had have got the job when Moyes left many years ago my bet is we'd not have been in this position now with a sack full of crap managers stealing huge severance pay deals from us.

He deserved a chance then. As for what input he has on things now I've no idea. Times have changed and Dunc sadly carries no special sentiment for this team now.

I'm.trying to see why Dunc should get the managers job. Is it because he has done a great job as coach or learnt loads under 4 great managers.

I'm.not advocating Eddie Howe but tbh he has done a good job at Bournemouth. He has fulfilled their fans expectations but he is not right for Everton.
But maybe you have to accept that Ferguson has done nothing as a coach. So for me if it was between Howe and Dunc and no.one else I'd have Howe every time.
But you can try and convince.me why Ferguson should get the job over Howe
