Welcome to Barcelonaton FC
Need to sort the defence out. Ever since Lescott left we havent been the same.

I dont think we need a striker as Yak looked good today and funny enough Big Vic was up for it too. the Beckford signing will add more, but honestly in the summer the back 4 needs to be sorted.

Discuss.

Comepletely Agree Mate, Coleman as our right back (Neville/Hibbert when experience is needed) but maybe the Heitinga-Jagielks centre back partnership will sort this out next season! COYB!

Been saying it all season.

We conceaded 37 goals last season, 48 today!

Vintage Yak today - big Vic has looked super ace since his return from injury.

I have the perfect player to replace Lescott. His name is Joleon Lescott. It would be the trademark Moyes signing. A promising player for whatever reason who becomes s#$% on his new team comes to us and everything is OK in the world.

Heitinga or Yobo to replace Distin. When you say "defence" you really mean Distin.

Him, and the right back position cos Neville aint been great there. Hopefully Jags will get up to speed in the summer because I think he's been poor of late.

But overall, I've never got the "we need a new striker" thing people keep banging on about and writing off Yak and Saha.

The problem is keeping the goals out not scoring em. Has been for most of the season as there's been about 3 games were we've looked toothless up front...but every team gets them games.

We badly need pace too.

The defenders seem to have switched off over the last few weeks. Maybe theyve accepted where we are in the league and have started thinking about next season.

Our best central pairing over the season, IMO, have been johnny and silv. Hasnt quite been the same since jags has been back

ive got 2 comments about our 2 cb's today.....

distin needs work on decision making.
jags needs to tone up and lose a few pounds.

They scored 2 unstoppable goals. I'm not sure there was any blame to the defence. Saying that, at times we were all over the place.

2nd one was very stoppable....Dustbin should never allowed a player of the callibre of Jason Roberts to turn and shoot. And why cant Howard save long range efforts?

I rate Howard highly but he is no good on them long range shots, despite those two long range shots being belters today.

1st was ustoppable. The 2nd.....isnt he too far off his line? Its been noted before that his positioning is a bit poor from distance. But Dustbin should've never allowed Roberts to turn him. Not one bit. Yobo would've booted him. Senderos would stuck close. Heitinga wouldve killed him and got away with it.

The two they scored, even Cech, van der sar, buffon, casillas and good old Kahn in the old days wouldn't have saved them. Top goals due to bad defending

You may be right. My stream was terrible so all i saw was 2 belters going in the net. Distin at times reminds me of Yobo, in that he switches off at vital times.
