How do the Rothschild and Rockefeller banking families fit into this "changed" demographic ??

The president has a lot of power, but they aren't dictator.

Fortunately Trump won the Rebulicans the Whitehouse, the Senate and the House, as well as some supreme court appointments.

So not necessarily the individual but rather the structure now being favourably Republican?

What about other Republicans? Do they all have to agree with Trump now or will there be power struggles within?

I'd imagine there will be some struggles related to the budget and perhaps the first Supreme Court justice that he nominates

So somehow this guy is a frontrunner...

His speeches are so bad its hilarious, they are just all over the place and a complete train wreck and yet middle america seems to think he's awesome.

Imagine foreign relations with him in charge, frightening.
Just finished digging my bunker in the backyard, waiting for the concrete to come tomorrow! I'll tell you all this ! Were Doomed! We're Doomed!:celebrate:

In terms of how he's accepted by the DC insiders, not at all. In 1980, Reagan was the repulsive human being.

That's what I was told. He was going to kill us all and drop the bomb on the world. It was enough to make yours truly vote for Carter. A second time.

Were you around then? Do you remember what it was like?

I was 10 years old, so not directly. It's hardly shocking though that a Carter campaign add would try to scare people away from voting. Funny that it doesn't have video evidence of Reagan saying, 'I would bomb the sh*t out of them'.

I think it's hardly the same though as Reagan had been the Governor of California for eight years. Trump has spent the last year and a half making an utter ass of himself.

It's funny when you look at the map then...red all over the shop...blue in the deep south. It was a nation then that wanted nothing more than to remove Carter from office (failure with the hostage crisis...etc) and one that was largely unified in that decision.

This election shows a nation divided, and a campaign that did nothing to bring all Americans together.

It's pretty funny if you watch back Trumps victory speech....watch Pence standing behind him.....Trump goes through a long list of everyone who was part of his campaign team thanking them, and Pence is just clapping along waiting for his turn to be acknowledged.....waiting and waiting....poor guy....then Trump finishes up still without mentioning him...finally he turns around and notices that Pence actually exists, and gives a quick awkward thank you lol

hahahaha poor Pence....

Watching Mike Pence standing in the background being completely invisible to others is my new favourite thing...
