Except not many people know Hillary's sketchy past goes all the way back to insider trading on cattle futures in 1978-79. I think we know very little about the true intentions of either of them.Sums up my feelings perfectly. The phrase 'better the devil you know, than the devil you don't' comes to mind.
Threatening to jail your political opponent like a dictator smh.
That's news to me.
Re the debate - Trump cleared a low bar - he didn't use the P word and didn't swear out loud at Anderson & Martha. Hillary took plenty of hits but showed she is much more masterful of the things that actually need to be done - i.e. modify Obamacare, interact with other countries. Trump seemed to spout the "I'm the guy because ISIS is bad regardless of the other crap I've done" line.
Neither of them are rating highly in my book, but I'll vote for Hillary because Donald cannot become our President.
The other candidate only shares some of these terrible characteristics, prepares for the job at hand and appears to take it very seriously, and despite her character flaws (which aren't few) and policy issues with which I disagree, appears more and more human every time she's compared with her competitor.
If this keeps up, I'll end up liking Hillary; this is Stockholm syndrome at its worst, and I'm beginning to feel like one of the beautiful women Donald admires, having my innocence stripped away by lecherous greed.
I've a good friend who worked for both Condoleeza Rice when she ran the NSC and for Hillary when she was at State. My friend is a Republican through and through, but she's voting for Hillary - she sees her as well-qualified and hard working, even though she has policy differences with Hillary. My friend enjoyed working with both women as they both ran their respective groups efficiently and with an open-mind. If you had an idea or concern, you were expected to speak up.
I don't see the same intellect or openness in Donald.
Regardless of Donald thinking he'll outsource the job to Mike Pence while Donald is "great", being POTUS is hard work regardless of your party or approach. I suppose in some ways, though we've relatively poor final choices, there's some logic to the grueling process you need to get through to become President. Because the job is harder than the campaign.
lol at the signs
Ha! It's not just having your way with the help? I knew there was a reason I never wanted to run. Maybe I should have run a casino or four into the ground. It's apparently not all delegating to your cabinet and raping women; sometimes you have to man up and lead the free world. Maybe Donald should have asked Bill what else is involved in the day-to-day?
