After all this I really hope after all this the contract offer's not still on the table. His performances say this isn't a 130k a week player, and the lack of interest in the market should be telling us that too.

The worst thing that happens is that he sees there's no interest and he begrudgingly signs a contract for financial security. He shouldn't be given that option.
Completely, one would hope we’ve withdrawn any offer completely, he needs to be carrying a degree of risk here

He needs to go, but again it comes down to terrible recruitment and sales that have led to him being our number 9. On his day he does half his job very well, but still doesn’t look like he’ll score a 1 on 1. When it’s not his day, which seems to be often, he’s not worth having on the pitch

What we gonna do mate, got the chairman of some other club in a headlock until they sign him?

I don't think he was ever good at dribbling and taking on his defender. But he was a good fit in a superior team under Ancelotti which possessed Digne, James and Richy for example.
In this current team you need a fighter / someone who can create more on his own
He has had his moments where he looked to improve. Just never really had it stick. Some players just aren’t coordinated and never will be.

Fans: the clubs a joke, absolutely nobody wants to play for them, there’s no talent and they’re a ship that’s already sinking

Fans when a player wants to leave for these exact reasons: rat.
