Hopefully, when Chermiti and Broja are fit, one of them makes the centre forward spot their own. As tidy a player as Calvert Lewin is, he offers little or no goal threat and to be painfully honest, he just doesn't seem to put his heart and soul into it lately.

He was awful today and looked completely uninterested.
Beto is not the answer but he did more in 30 minutes than DCL had done in 60.
I would be amazed if he started next week.

I think the discussion on who is better DCL or Beto is pointless now, whilst Dom is obviously the better all player the fact that for whatever reason he no longer seems capable or willing to offer all the things he's good at means he needs dropping. I imagine the other players are aware of his desire to be elsewhere and that can't be good for team harmony, better to have a player busting a gut for the club then someone going through the motions. It's a sad end to Dom's Everton career but the team must come first. If only we sung him a song.

Beto as per last week after his goal and this week after it got chalked off showed just how much this club means too him and the first touch and finish today was unreal
