I'm always amazed that people are amazed when he misses 1v1's though. They whinged all Summer we needed to bin him off because he can't score 1v1's.

You expect your Number 9 to slot them, especially at this level, they were very good chances for sure, but not really open goals.

he did the right thing with the second one putting his foot through it just unfortunate it hit the bar the first one for someone wanting 160k a week should be putting that away it was like he forgot what he wanted to do

Part time, he's been here 8 years, he's 1 of our longest serving players and 1 of our highest scoring PL era players.

But oh well.

And where is he going in January, you just said nobody wants him.

Didn't say no one wanted him, more that no one wants to pay for him (fee or wages) and the ones that do won't be anyone in the top 6.

Always liked him, have been a fan. But it's relative to what he thinks he is to what he actually is and that's not a very good finisher who'll no doubt leave on a free.

So I can't really get all sentimental about him when we ain't got a pot to piss in and getting something money wise for him would be nice.

Dyche needs to make him do an entire day of just running through on a keeper though.

Being amazed at that vs being astounded that he has never figured that part out are 2 different things. He's absolutely awful at 1v1. You can point to a random goal here and there but he misses them (a number I'm guessing) more than 90% of the time. Reactionary goals he's ok with. ANY time of "thinking" and he'll balls it up.

It’s amazing. He should probably have about 30 or 40 more career goals if he was even semi competent. Players like Mirallas used to finish them for fun.
