Worth remembering that because it was a cup game this appeal was with the FA not the PL (maybe why we won?) so the consequences for the referees next appointments would be minimal anyway.

Pawson nudged Salisbury to make the initial move to have the incident looked at and he took the bite. I’ve never heard of this fella Salisbury before this game, has he got any previous for this type of nonsense? We all know Pawson’s previous especially where Everton are concerned. I’d like to put a spell on him so he thinks Everton are Liverpool when he referees our matches, the points would come piling in!
