He was walking around freely after the end of the game with a smile on his face. It's sensible to take precautions when you think how pivotal he may be for us.

The lad could easily play 90 if needed to but there is still so much of the season to play, you don't risk someone who has a track record.

It's standard strength & conditioning, he'll have his minutes increased from 60 then 75 then 90.

An inch away from a goal and was very good holding the ball up. Has to stay fit for as long as possible and if so, he can give us a platform on which to build.

To be fair he had came over to talk to the staff about 2 minutes before he came off so i reckon it was for that, he worked really hard and got thrown around a few times, it was a solid performance to build on

Looked like he didn’t want to come off but big smiles and walking freely when he came on at the final whistle

Good to have a coach who isn’t trying to push our players to the brink and makes the decision for them to save their long term fitness

More like his old self today - he had support & his lay offs were spot on ....still not 100 percent fit though ....
