Absolutely crazy to gamble premier league safety on this guy being fully fit and scoring. His body is broken down and perhaps no surprise there as he has always been a physical type of striker. Again very poor planning on that side of pitch from the club...lampard keep talking about him before when media was asking about attacking signings, and now complaining that the same media is asking about him...he can't have it both ways...he is either crucial to us or he is not...

With a break ahead though and Maupay playing decent last time it’s probably worth risking a game without him, rather than risking him ending his season (again). I’m sure if we had 3 games in the next 7 days he’d be getting some minutes.
Plus as we saw last season, a half fit Dom is awful, and takes terrible penalties.

Anyone surprised, he's fine until he actually tries to play football. Really good player, but it's injury after injury, we need a fully fit and firing DCL.
You don't go from being in contention for a start on Thursday to not being in the matchday squad on Sunday without being injured
