Only way of not being rinsed for a forward now, is going after one with a release clause, such as cornet.

That's providing we can get 17.5m cash together.

Of the options available Cornet feels like the least suitable DCL replacement. The good thing about his release clause I guess is that it sets a bar for similar options like Dennis or Brereton Diaz. If, say, Watford try to rinse us for Dennis then we can just say “well, we can get Cornet for 17”.

Tbh this injury is almost as predictable as Mina breaking down in the first 20 minutes v Chelsea.

You see I don’t agree with this angle at all because the lad is a physical specimen and until his freak injury last year was actually very injury adverse. He also played pretty soft for most of his time back last season and you’d think he’d have rehabilitated well.

Of course taking into account “Everton that”, it was coming like a freight train into a deer
