It is bad planning, but they have been attempting to get another striker in. But they have limited funds, and as well as a striker, we needed, at the least, 2 midfielders, a wide player.

That's not counting the CB we got on a free and the LB we got on loan.

We also need those players to replace Richarlison, who offered a package worth about 3 players - a good finisher, a workhorse and a creative player all in one who could play anywhere across the front three.

We're doing all of this, or trying to do it all, on the back of a near relegation season, when money is tight and every financial move we make is being scrutinised. It's not an excuse, but it's where we are.

Richarlison was a creative player?

Everyone knows all the “big muscle” hospitals are in London…

We still have Simms and Kean on the books yet could start the season without a striker in the team. Surely they know Rondon is not up to the task and DCL is sadly now an injury prone liability.

They simply must have someone lined up before deadline day, it's beyond belief if they haven't.

Are Simms and Kean really that poor that Rondon is our back up for injury prone DCL?

Yes.

We went from moaning about the new kit, to moaning about DCL’s injuries, to moaning about all the injuries we get in training, to moaning about the board not getting another striker in. All in one day lol! Got to be a record for us!
Everton that.....
