He made no attempt to get his head on that cross. He was there. His momentum was taking him onto the end of a pinpoint cross...then he stopped himself short.
Look, I get that there was potential physical danger there from a committed GK coming out to clear that cross, but if he wants that starting shirt that's what he has to do.
The lad is a willing runner and will give 100% outside the box as a team player. But he's almost completely hopeless in the box where a striker earns their corn.

His team mates will look at that video and know instantly what's happened. Richarlison was the only one on the pitch who could see how easy it was to make contact with the ball and turned away in fury.
