surely at some point in this life we close this thread?I was never convinced DCL could score on a regular basis, I thought he missed too many chances to be top quality. It appears all he needed was a team playing to his strengths. He did have a purple patch under Carlo but that all seemed to go when Carlo left, that probably had a lot to do with Dyche and his anti-football. Looks like I was wrong about him and he has something about him. I think he would be good in this Everton team. Unfortunately it all seemed to come to a natural conclusion, he needed a new challenge and we needed a new centre forward, he took up the challenge we might have a talent in Barry.
No chance. This is a war zone and there’s no hope of a peace treaty.surely at some point in this life we close this thread?
Probably more like what happens when they don't train at Finch Farm, sure that place is cursed for soft tissue injuriesYou think this is what happens when a player is shown love rather than hate ?
I'd actually say he is a good footballer but a poor finisher. He's doing well at the minute and good for him but I still wouldn't want him back. He's not a good footballer and he's not a natural finisher by any stretch of the imagination.
I second that.surely at some point in this life we close this thread?
when no post in a thread in 6 months it gets automatically locked. like Richy thread. so if you don't want to talk about him simply do not post here imhosurely at some point in this life we close this thread?
Calvert who?Why did he go missing for about 18 months? (I mean really missing, not just on the pitch missing)
Did he have issues with his mental health? Was it cured by not playing for Everton?
I'm still convinced he's just having a purple patch, he was always a nearly man for me, nearly on the end of a cross, but not quite there, nearly scored, but didn't.
Don't wish him anything bad, but not @rsed he's gone, couple of seasons, we'll forget he even played for us.
Imagine being encouraged to keep going when you make an error as opposed to being jeered and groaned at.You think this is what happens when a player is shown love rather than hate ?
