he played bad football yes but he did sign tosun and Walcott which were both decent signings and got us from down low to an 8th position finish. I think he deserves some credit personally, glad hes moved on as this season wouldn't be anticipated with excitement if he was still here and no one wants his brand of football long term

Why do people credit Fat Sam with signings? Was it not Walsh & Mosh/BK who did all of that? (Jan was a long time ago, and I can barely remember what happened in most of the Word Cup...)

No credit whatsoever. The weasel knew we were a club in trouble and despair and like the crook that he has always been, extorted us for as much money as possible. The second he arrived his weaselness took root stealing credit for a match that he had absolutely nothing to do with. We were crap before he came and after the new Manager bounce had worn off, he managed to actually make us even crapper. We went from being proper crap to being proper crap and the most boring team in the league. A shot on goal became dreamlike and a distant memory. Watching Everton was like watching a sadistic humourous horror movie.
Meanwhile the ego driven weasel was talking absolute drivel week in and week out and constantly and deliberately trolling the club and all the fans. We became even more of an embarrassment than we previously were. You only had to mention the words Allardcye and Everton and people would literally fall over on the floor laughing, especially Kopites. Even when we sacked him the misery didnt end. Not only did he get his premeditated massive payout for what he did to us, we now have the awesome privilege of being scarred forever that he was once the Manager of Everton.
Evertonians deserve credit for somehow managing to get through the ordeal that was forced upon them.

They're all culpable, but Allardyce just compounded it.

And I still think heads should roll in the upper tiers of the organization due to the appointment in light of the fact that all of the fans rejected Allardyce’s potential employment when he was originally linked, and the club went and did it anyway. It was EFC spitting in the face of the fans paying money to support the club. Blatant disrespect for all supporters to hire that man. I’m still disgusted by the decision, and it has tainted the club. I pray this new regime can take steps to repair the damage done by Allardyce, and those that appointed him. With that said I fear my blind hope and optimism are categorically Evertonian and likely to lead to massive letdown. But here I am all the same optimistic that this year will be different.
