Do you feel old?

Paris

What is love?
I'm just sat here swigging a beer, I'm in my late 30s now but still don't realise how old this actually is and despite no longer hanging out with ladies of the night with gay abandon, I still consider myself young, and every bit of spare cash I have goes towards travel instead of doing something much more sensible like buying a house. What's the point in buying a house when I could wake up dead tomorrow, with nobody to give it to I ask myself. I attribute a large part of this to my uncle and aunty who did everything right, but each sadly passed away within a couple of years of retirement.

I do absolutely take more of a proactive approach to my fitness than I used to when I was younger. Nothing special like, an hour's cardio down the gym followed by 250-300 pushups the following day. I'm not a body builder or anything of the sort but at least 20 minutes a day is good I guess?

Very good.i do 30/40 minutes light weights and 30 minutes cardio.
The 2/3 hours ping pong practice works up a good sweat

Nearer to sixty than 50, still running close on 2000 miles a year, done 9 off road half marathons this year.

The difference is in my twenties, I ran a lot faster and could sustain the pace, now I just plod along and it takes me a full week to recover from a race, rather than a couple of days like it used to.

Also my tolerance to ale has massively reduced with age and the hangovers seems to last for days, as a result if there`s nothing in pub I want to drink ( no real ale ), I`ll happily drink soft drinks.
