Nobody breathed a word of this claim until two hours before the match. Police say they haven't been contacted.

No evidence has been produced, nobody had claimed to have witnessed the incident.

We simply have a baseless claim from an anonymous source in the club making a serious allegation against the support.

When you couple this with the timing of the announcement I think it's fair to say the claim is suspect.

So, a senior executive of a multi million pound business, is assaulted in full public view, by a random stranger, at what in essence is one her places of work and it’s just “ hand bags “ ????????

But your definition of "assault" maybe different to my definition and so on. We've all seen those karens on social media video's getting a little push in the shoulder and screaming "YOU'VE ASSAULTED ME IM CALLING THE POLICE!"

whereas for me getting assaulted is being repeatedly punched and kicked.

There is also a stereotyped view of this story that DBB was manhandled by some 6ft+ brute male when literally she could have got into a verbal altercation with some 5ft arl Karen from Tuebrook and some handbags resulted - would DBB report that to the police ? Who knows I certainly wouldn't.

But add that incident to Kenwright receiving death threats and its not fantasy to believe the board may decide that its not worth the hassle to turn up on match day.

I get people are angry with the board - but you seen what happened to Gordon after the match (and Mina) so lets not go down the RAWK road of claiming all our fans are angels - because if we do that without having an open mind to these allegations all you do is embolden the minority of idiots to escalate down the line.

Liverpool fans do what they do because their acolytes in the media and fanbase double down whenever a minority of their fans act up and we cant allow our frustration with the board to blind us into doing the same.
