That sounds goodBasically Everton shook the confidence of the Nazis, undermining them publicly and thus emboldened the British troops years later to eventually help them win the war? #defiance

I don't dispute any of that mate, that's not the point he was making, when we declared war on Germany Russia had signed a pact of non aggression so in fact we went to war alone, with Belgium and France who melted quickly, and were at war with Germany in Western Europe alone until D Day,albeit the defense of Britian

Just as well we never,we wouldn't have wheelchair enclosures at football grounds for startersAlso, I agree that Britain's symbolic opposition to Nazism was important in the long scheme of things, it could very well have gone a lot differently had Britain got into bed with Hitler, a distinct possibility at the time.

If we'd have had the resources available ie oil etc that were in abundance in The Soviet Union I've no doubt Hitler would have invaded Britain,if Britain had fallen the outcome of WW2 would have been very different, the fact that they had to fight on two fronts probably won the war rather than just the fact they invaded Russia,so I'd have to disagree on that part mateYeah, but the term "war" has to be used loosely for that period. There were very few meaningful battles, and Britain had to famously leave places like France, Denmark and Poland in the lurch despite promises of support. D-Day was great, and helped preserve Germany from a full-scale Soviet takeover (which most German people would have been grateful for), but the war was won in Russia.
Walter Schmitt ?We'd prob have a German manager though which may have been better.
ExactlyYou wouldn't need them.
