Anyone taken part in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride before? Doing it in Manchester this year.....if you’ve not heard of it it’s a worldwide event held in hundreds of cities as far-apart as Solent and Singapore all in aid of Prostrate Cancer and Men’s Health. Over 120,000 riders have taken part over the last 5-6 years and raised around $7M to support men’s health issues. You don your dapper gear and do a ride through the city with other like minded bikers on your classic, vintage or current motorbike.

Sorry to bump this...most of us on here appear to be men ( and I use the term loosely), and I reckon every single one of us know somebody who has suffered or is suffering from some form of life-changing health issue. Men clearly don’t take their own health half as seriously as women, whether it’s physical or mental health, and it’s largely because we’re either to scared or embarrassed to visit the Doctor, have the excuse of being too busy or simply can’t be assed with dealing with something that needs dealing with.

I know there’s a plethora of very needy and deserving charities and good causes out there dependent on donations and support, but worth noting that every single £1 raised towards improving and highlighting men’s health is a £1well used.

I stuck a sponsorship thing up for my boxing and it was alright so I think you'll be fine but just drop a few of the mods a PM.
