did anyone see the protest

I think he just meant Damon to be honest.

Hahahhaaaa. Could possibly be true.

Ok, maybe that's a bit strong. But this is worse than Kirkby for both sides being completely unable to see the opposing side of the argument. Which is frustrating

Was out in Bedford last night. Saw a car with an Everton sticket in it. And I think a fella who works/runs or whatever at The Rose was wearing a shirt. Must be some sort of blue presence there!

Yes, I know him. He is the manager, he actually has an Everton flag flying high outside the pub in the town centre. There are a number of blues in Bedford, where I live. I work with two for a start. They are not as hard to find in Bedford as you may think.

I can (I think...) see both sides of the argument. Bills doing his best. Surely nobody can doubt his 'blueness'. On the other hand, his apparent search for investment has been remarkably unsuccessful over quite a long period. Plus the Kings Dock fiasco and even the Park End development.

In truth, I don't know what to think.

One chance for me to better informed was glaringly missed yesterday. Did anyone else hear Stuart Hall's interview with Sharpy on 5Live? Sorry if this has been posted already but that interview was a journalistic disgrace.

I like Stuart Hall because he doesn't conform to the cliched and predictable reporting and commentating that we're usually dished up. Plus he's not Alan Green. Plus he always speaks fondly of The School of Science and recalls a time when Everton were the yardstick against which other clubs measured themselves.

But as an investigative interviewer, he had me shouting at the radio as he and Sharpy held a conversation in which they just agreed with each other.

Hall: (incredulously) "But, Graeme, what do the protestors want? What more can Bill Kenwright do...?"

Sharp: (resignedly) "I know Stuart, it baffles us here at Everton too..."

That was just awful and a chance for some searching questions to be put was missed. Angry here. Not about Bill but about the BBC.

BTW only Everton fans could hold a protest as peaceful as that. No real anger, no grief, almost an apology. I was intrigued to see what was happening demo wise and the reaction of the rest of the fans. Top and bottom of it is, it is what happens on the field that counts... Eleven numpties winning every week and we would be so happy.

I'd go with that.

I dont especially like the BU, but I basically agree with what they're trying to do. Which is to remove the current board from the positions of power at EFC
