Played this for a good few hours tonight with my mate.
Gonna go and preorder it in the week, it's gonna be brilliant.
There's obviously not a great deal
currently unlocked, but you can make a character from any class and race.
There are a few kill and collect missions, a few kill and scan missions, there's this massive tank that drops into one area for a bonus timed kill (we tried it with two people but you definitely need 3 or more to take it).
You can travel to the home hub and upgrade weapons and armour, take bounty missions and enter the PvP zone "the crucible".
My mate was on it longer and is level 8 or 9, I'm about to go over to level 8.
The code is really smooth and we only got disconnected twice in 5 hours between us.

The level cap is only 8 unfortunately, but it's given me chance to max out all three classes.
They all have great special abilities.
Ended up doing a full long Strike mission with two other players it matched me to. The mission was really tough and featured two difficult boss fights. If all three of you were knocked out at the same time the boss fight would reset. That only happened once when we were all hit by the same cannon shell. It took us a while but we completed it, and it was really good fun.
I'm not really a big online gamer, but I'm definitely going to get this as it's not just like COD where your doing the same thing over. Having the small and large missions and skill development tree will make this a really fantastic game.

Destiny looks like the first decent next gen game, just need to work out which console I'm getting, The Xbox One or the PS4, I'm tempted by the Remasted Last of us as I haven't played it due to having no PS3 but also tempted by Halo: The Master Chief collection. Grrrrrrr
