Derby - Win, Lose or Draw ?

May aswell throw in Scolari who won the World Cup where is he now, I'm sure he has just been sacked AGAIN

It's a risk mate. Ramos came into the league on the back of a fantastic record at Sevilla and bombed, Moyes came in only having managed lower leagues and did well. You can't always tell.

Getting someone in new is always going to risk it not working, but there are options is my point. Whether a young promising manager like Poyet or Solskjaer or an old manager with a great record like Rehhagel who might have lost his touch.

Never mind failure to win trophies, is there any decent theory why he's so shit at the Derby? I've mentioned that his record compared to our other managers who've had longevity isn't good because they didn't face (apart from HKI + II reign) vast investment disparities. But that only gets you so far when you think of the way Liverpool have pretty much wasted that advantage.

They've had 10 men in 2 derbys and we still didn't beat them with 11 men.

We are currently the better team, playing much better football, creating and scoring goals, so it's nailed on!! We'll get beat, probably by a penalty with either Gerrard or Suarez going down like they've been shot in the box! oh and we'll probably have someone sent off as well! This is Everton after all!

Cuper or Pellegrini would be dream appointments for me. And if Malaga and Orduspor can get them, I don't see why Everton can't.

I didn't think it was possible until they started selling. I reckon we'd have a chance if they don't get into the CL again.

If Moyes went he's the man I'd want.

What happened in this one?

People seem to think its a given we'll get screwed by some cheating player or ref but it doesn't happen all the time. More than it should of course but there's just as much chance of us being gash and rolling over or actually getting a win really.

Liverpool have now gone seven Premier League matches without defeat, keeping six clean sheets in the process.

By contrast, Everton's nine-match unbeaten run came to an end. The last team to beat them before today had been Liverpool at Goodison in late November and they have now won just two of the last 21 league derbies.

Giggle.

Ahhhhhhh it was that game. Weren't really robbed though were we?

Not at all.

They went down to 10men early, we lost Fellaini and played like a bunch of clowns.

I was at that game, we surrendered like pretty much every derby at Anfield, was shocking to watch. We went out and beat Chelsea and Man Utd the next 2 games after
