I don't think Borini being injured will make any type of difference at all. He's been awful for them and if I'm not mistaken they actually started playing better when he wasn't in the starting 11 and they brought a few of the youngsters in.

0-2 Kuyt and Carrol for the RS, both players brought back under new "emergency" rules by the FA!

The day I think Everton are gonna lose a Derby is the day I stop going the game.

The timeline is like this Goat:

2-3 weeks pre-game: apathetic dismissal of our obviously dismal chances.

1 week pre-game: growing sense of dread and terror.

day of the game: detailed recollection of all the hurt and injustice suffered. A remembrance of the sheer hatred of our beloved neighbours that characterises the very soul of what it is to be an Evertonian; the red shirts milling outside Goodison, the growing anger, resentment, fury. Z-cars. A determination to get one over on the wall-pushing, glory-hunting, ****e-talking, red-wearing, unbearable snidey [Poor language removed].

"COME ON BLUES DEESE ARE ****E"

post-match: the prematch fury having been infused with incomprehensible referring decisions, atrocious Everton play, and inevitable Liverpool victory slow gives way to dejected hopelessness, and a long period of self-preservation, licking our wounds until the next game arrives and we repeat the process ad finitum.

the life of an Evertonian. One thing is guarenteed: it will be bleak.
