We'll loose 2 - 0.

I honestly think there is no way we can win this, they have such a massive pyschological advantage over us.

yes they have. but it can be changed and turned around.
This might sound funny comparison but we had this situation for years and years with sweden..(icehockey) they always beat us in the end....the psychological edge was theirs, many times we were leading with several goals but both teams and fans knew how it would end...and it did.

Like I said this was On like a long time. But the tide turned.
In the end it didn't take much to break that spell, it was all psychology.

This team can make it I recon.

They aren't a better side than us and our players will know it, even if our manager doesn't.

If they've got anything about them they'll be looking at them thinkin "who the fukc are you" and go all out for the win.

At some point we will put this right. It can start from the next game.

The whole psychological aspect of this fixture does annoy me quite a lot. Our team is more than a match for them and has been for a couple of seasons yet they still look down their noses at us as if we are insignificant. The problem is the players then perform like we are inferior to them, they sh!t themselves and it baffles me.

Having said that I can't help but think that this time will be different, I said that last season though so surely it has to change sometime.

He was only here a short time but Big Joe never lost one. It's not so deeply engrained that it can't be changed with the right attitude IMO.

I'd like to think not, they're not the force they once were but they have the mentality that they still are. I wish our club had some of the self belief them tools do.

Seem to remember a psychological thing about playing at craven cottage.
That got stopped as will this one.
Think it's more to do with the fear of what the ref will do next if we tackle or play gung ho than any fear of them.
Been some really shocking decisions in their favor over the years.
Much more confident this time round cos we are a better football team than them and our boys are full of confidence and know this to be true.
The righteous will inherit the earth and the ****e will go to hell

Kidding? That's where I'm going.

I'm more hopeful than convinced but Moyes appears to be playing to win , rather than not to lose, this season. Could be the difference?

I'm confident but hating myself for it, cos everytime I am these [Poor language removed] get lucky.

Id go with

Howard
Coleman Heitinga Jagielka Baines
Mirallas Gibson Osman Pienaar
Fellaini
Jelavic

If Fellaini is injured then replace him with Naismith. I'd be disappointed if that clown Phil Neville starts in any capacity.

I think a large part of it is all to do with when they are played. For the last couple of years we have played poorly in the first half of the season, so when we welcome them here, its a case of, ****, Liverpool next, we're playing poorly and I can't see us getting anything against them. Then, on the return game, we are flying, unbeaten in x amount of games, so then it's a case of. ****, we're playing so well at the moment, but its all got to come to an end, no doubt it'll be against the ****e. We start those games nervous.

This year however, we have had a great start in footballing terms, but not without our slip ups, we are not on any kind of winning streak, so nothing for them to end. We went to Swansea, who Liverpool base their game on, and played them off the park, so all I have going in to this game is confidence. There is nothing they can destroy this season, this early. If they beat us, we'll just get up and carry on. It will not be the make or break of our season, the end of a run, the piling on to a defeat streak, it is the closest it will get for us to being 'just another game'. That is why we can win this and gain the mental edge. It will be the first derby game for Rodgers, to early for his style to have set in entirely and too late for him to change it. This is more make or break for them than it is for us.

Believe.

regarding the derby, does anyone know how long it takes for the club to dispatch tickets ordered online ?
I ordered mine End of September when they became on general sale. I do live abroad so it will take a few days longer
