That was when they thought the bash on the head that Coleman got was just a knock - later they found out he did get concussion from it.

Thankfully the dangers of concussion, especially those of having further impacts on an already damaged brain, are becoming more accepted. Until they are absolutely certain Coleman has recovered they won't risk him. Iirc Lloris was sidelined for over 10 days after he got knocked out by Lukaku's knee last season.
