The RS stopped deserving anything after the infamous 'Liverpool are magic, Everton are tragic' St George's Hall. And I don't care what Thompson says it was Hughes, Thompson and McDermott that sung that night. Until that day most Evertonians had a begrudging admiration for their achievements, hence the number of blues at St George's hall, and the large amount of boos and scuffles, after that day things changed for me. They deserved nothing but contempt and it was noticeable that it was only Hughes that apologised, it never came from the club.
