I guess shows how good a job Moyes done, finished 7th when our first choice striker managed just two goals all season.

Tbf he was only first choice for 6 months, he couldn't have wished for a more negative set up to play in though, was some of the worst 6 months of football I've seen from an Everton side in a long time and credit to Denis his sheer effort at times dragged us through a few games, then we made some good signings in January and it completely changed the season.

To be fair to the lad, he could play a bit aswell. I mean, you wouldn’t want him back obviously, but he wasn’t totally out of his depth. As a target man he wasn’t too shabby, he just had no mobility.
