When he's in royal blue and he's running down the left /Why don't you come on over, Demari Gray?
I'm starting to think those chaps complaining ten days ago about Gray being a waste of money may not know what they are talking about.

If everyone is fit I would probably use him from the bench in most games but would also be comfortable with him starting a few so Richarlison can rest. He gives us a different option due to his pace.
Who would you reckon or first 11 is messy?
I think our quality of squad is that poor that Gray would still be unlucky not to start.
Formation is important, but I think if we are playing counter attack this season he becomes vital.
Too many players with the pace of a slug in our squad!
Based on who's on the squad now I would go 4-3-3.
Pickford
Coleman Mina Godfrey Digne
Doucoure Allan Gbamin
James Calvert-Lewin Richarlison
Subs
Begovic Holgate Keane Nkounkou Davies Gomes Townsend Gray Kean
Gray is unlucky if he had been left footed I would possibly have played him ahead of James. 4-3-3 suits more of our players. If we went 4-4-2 he would play left wing and Townsend right with Gbamin and James dropping to the bench.
That will be the best bench in the last 5 or so years!
Have to see if James is up for it.![]()
Yeah that in theory is a decent looking team and bench. Unfortunately we are Everton and it never works out that way.
I want to see what Gbamin can do with more games and better players next to him.
No more Delph, Gomes etc....
