Who the hell decided this was a good deal?
Im not sure I consider it a good deal, in hindsight, but I do think the deal made "sense", as of now he hasnt cost us a transfer fee, for a player that was rated in the 100m bracket a few seasons ago, thats not a bad deal.

Of course its cost us a vast sum in wages and with hindsight, it stinks.

But it could have gone a different way.

Stay positive lads. He's gonna convert to the church of Jebus and get back on the straight and narrow.

20 goals next season, player of the year and back in the England squad...

It was never, ever, ever going to go a different way. It’s not hindsight, some of us were saying at the time it was a stupid signing.
