With that said, I am growing increasingly tired of the rumors of Baines and/or Fellaini moving "imminently". If I were to believe these stories, they would have been gone months ago. The fact that the papers keep calling it breaking news is pathetic.

Haha my best mate is a Spurs fan and we were discussing the exact same thing RE: the Bale saga. They have been saying it is imminent all summer long and keep having 'breaking news' and saying the same things over and over again.

Papers have to keep selling papers and until the Premier League kicks off again they have nothing to talk about.

Not actually an Einstein quote at all (it's commonly attributed to him incorrectly) but that aside I agree with your general sentiment.
