He lacks pace - end of never looked a star in the final v united -please tell me how many other clubs were in for him to start a bidding war??????.......
No we just paid the asking price - Walsh again!

Koeman signing. Koeman wanted him so you pay the asking price.

Well no as it’s the league as such mate

No it’s not. A competitive game is a league or cup competition in which the fixture has consequences and a reward for winning.

Europa League and League Cup games are competitive fixtures. No one has ever, ever said that competitive means just the league.

I wonder if these signings are down to Walsh at all.
I think some of them at least are down to RK. I would guess that Klaasen in particular was down to Walsh , just as I think Tosun is down to Sam.

He has featured in 12 games in total so far (4 PL, 1 LC, 7 EL).

Why was he a target in the first place?

20 goals and 15 assists last season, captaining Ajax to a Europa Lg final, vast domestic and international experience and a hard worker. At the age of 24.

It's gone horridly wrong due to a huge glut of reasons. Some down to him not adapting. Some down to poor management. It is what it is.

I hope if he does go it's on loan but that looks unlikely.

I think it was because we were desperate for a zero pace, zero skill, low-scoring midfielder in the squad to replace the massive hole left by Leon Osman.

Jokes aside that’s the only answer that makes sense.

It’s like Walsh and Koeman couldn’t be bothered checking which areas needed signing and just went for a random midfielder who played in the europa league final.

First home game against Stoke I said to me arl fella he looks awful here and we don’t look like an attackive threat at all, and some guy infront had a go saying give them the guy a chance..
