As much as I'd love to see Dowell back and playing. I don't think this is the manager to help him, he'll probably progress more at Forest for the rest of the season.
I reckon klaasen will go out on loan though and then sold in the summer. He doesn't have enough physical attributes for this style of play.

Sam’s already said the squad is too big. I can see as many as 6+ going out, with 3-4 coming in.
We could easily lose 5 or 6 with virtually zero effect on the squad (even without any incomings) :
Besic, McCarthy : Never fit & 4th choice when they are.
Mirallas : Never good enough, trouble & 5th choice
Tarashaj, Garbutt : If they’ve not made it by now.....
Klaasen : Shame for the lad, but if he can’t even get on the bench, get what we can.
I can see Sandro going. Shame, I had high hopes, but can’t see it happening for him.
If we sign a 1st choice CB, maybe let Jags go for 1st team football.
I’d put my house on us signing minimum 3 senior players (striker, LB, CB) & suspect we'll bring in 5-6, incl a few Walsh kids.
So even though shedding 6-8 sounds insane, I think we could do it without issue.

BFS said in an interview Davy and Sandro need to take a look in the mirror and stop sulking and essentially prove themselves.
I don’t agree BFS would be less capable of developing Dowell. (Playing regularly at any championship club is exactly what he needs) He’d a good record at Bolton I’m getting the best out of a whole range of players, granted there’s been a lot of water under the bridge since then
