I will also add that while we're going on about how good his one touch passing is...it's also very limiting in his range.

While people are writing Rooney off, he's still able to spread play and ping a 30 yarder which is something I can't see Klassen doing.

Tbh he's not like cahill at all. I think both are passengers so far I'm what little games we have seen but it is early days I guess. Shame really I expected more from klassen but let's see I guess

Very sad that this is what football has become. Helmets screaming for "MORE PAAACE LA" because they'd rather see some headless chicken run the ball to the byline and boot it into the Gwladys than the pure artistry of Davy Klaassen. We deserve what we get.

Boy keeps the ball moving, nice little one touches all over the gaff. I like it.

He showed glimpses of great link up play in the Ruzemberok game then created a couple of half-chances in Slovakia and, while it wasn't a mind-blowing pass, did set up our only goal.

Can't believe he's played two competitive games in which basically the entire team looked dreadful and people are queuing up to write him off.

I think the problem with Davy and Sandro is with 'fans expectation', having watched YouTube montages of them both playing with teams they're fully integrated into...

They've both been here five minutes and played against a 'park the bus' team, whose only hope was to defend, defend, defend... not the sort of games where their intelligent type of play is going to be showcased really.

Like Sandro, I think Davy is going to be a proper player for us in time.

The problem is that this guy knows what he is going to do with the ball before he even recieves it , most of our other players dont know what to do with it when they have it .

He will take time to settle in - for the life of me he -Rooney - Sig if he comes - are all similar players , and Tom davies is better than most ? we need that money spent on striker, a left back and another young defender .....

Me too - I'm amazed after the Snivelley era people can't see a fraud player a mile off. Read the first 40 pages of his thread and the comparisons are scary.
