2025/26 David Moyes

Just watched his post match presser and now want to punch his kin head in.

Doesn't understand why the fans are frustrated after the last few weeks!?

Taking absolutely zero accountability for it!?

Blaming previous ref decisions for our attitude today!?

Should be happy we haven't been in a relegation scrap!?

Can't be spending £200 mil etc!?

Such a gas lighter, so sick of his sheet.
No decent ownership sits and listens to that drivel

I’m not sure you were paying attention to the last time he was here, it’s what he does. Its even the exact same formation and setup since the Man City game where we were told Rohl was only in to combat the threat of Nico O’Reilly…
This is what he’s always done. Flog his favourites (until they produce a Neville vs Wigan performance) and crumbs for everyone else. He ostracises younger players if they make mistakes but will give more experienced pros seemingly infinite chances to play themselves back into form. The fact he’s making excuses about needing even more players, who he won’t use, is laughable.
That's my major gripe with Moyes, after his tendency to just throw games, as HD did today. We play excellent against Villa, with Patterson, Rohl and Armstrong in side, JOB at centre back, then completely ignores this and goes back to same favourites. There's no actual thought over whether player is actually playing well, just whether he has experience. He's a better version of Dyche. He was lucky that he had Kenwright with him at Everton, because his failures were tolerated. When RS like David Moyes, you knows he's not that great.

He wants out.

1. Having a pop at TFG a few days ago, questioning their ambition. He never did that with Kenwright. Think of the summers he literally had no money.

2. Those two last performances of the season were absolutely dog turd. After Sunderland he downplayed how bad it was, thought we were the better team. Even after today’s game, he wasn’t that scathing. Just not Moyes for me. He would have known the last 2 weeks wasn’t good enough, and he’s normally fairly honest.

3. Generally with Moyes, after last week, you would expect some sort of response. Today was arguably worse than the Sunderland game, just no effort or intensity, which is the minimum for any Moyes team.

4. Feels like an element of “sod you” with his team selections. Even his most staunch defenders were saying he should make changes today. Swapping Barry for Beto doesn’t really cut it. Very much the stubborn Moyes.

5. His comments after the game absolutely indicate he’s off for me. To come out same day he doesn’t understand why the fans are dissatisfied with the end of the season is absolutely tin eared. 3 points in 21?

That would have gone down like a led balloon with the ownership. Just acknowledging the disappointment, say I’m not satisfied either. There are one million things you could say. But being dismissive towards the supporters just won’t work. If he wants to be here next season, you don’t antagonise them. He could get away with it under Kenwright but not now.

For me, he knows he isn’t getting renewed, knows he won’t have total control of transfers, and wants the payout. It’s Dyche part 2.
Stop getting my hopes up!

All he has to say is 'yeah I totally get it, I share fans frustrations'.

But his ego won't let him because he thinks the media and the fans have no right to question him.

An insight into the real Moysie.

I absolutely knew for a 100% fact today that we wouldn’t lay a glove on Spurs.

And that’s no way to go into a game tbh. We need a fundamental change at this club.
