he played him for his pals against spurs.

Talk is cheap. Anyone can talk wham and fool people with outlandish claims.De Zerbi is talking about building a dream team of top top players from back to back 17th place finishes.
Our manager is saying we can’t spend 200 mill but we can ‘go again’ next season. To what? 12th?
Just ZERO ambition at the club. It’s a carcass. A husk of a football team.
Spent most of this season waiting for us to get going, and still waiting.De Zerbi is talking about building a dream team of top top players from back to back 17th place finishes.

He's just spouting what people want to hear. He'll probably be sacked by xmasDe Zerbi is talking about building a dream team of top top players from back to back 17th place finishes.

Unless you are a utter shambles of a club there should always be a succession plan, in fact most modern clubs have multiple succession plans for different scenarios.
If we've invested all this money into the non playing staff like we have done, and they don't have a succession plan for a manager as average as David Moyes, then we should all be very worried.
Same
Need someone lined up already
Thing is we may end up sacking him mid season with no good options because we are a club that is incapable of learning from our mistakes
Agree but if there is a manager out there available willing to come and drive us further then it should be looked into
What happens two or three months into the new season and results carry on in the same vain
I agree with some of that, but he hasn't done that much better than Dyche especially when you factor in money. Some might call what he did last season an extended new manager bounce, but it was definitely good. Once he got his feet under the table, however, he reverted to the stubborn character that he was in his last couple of years with us and his latter clubs, and it was usually unpleasant before too long. As I stated earlier in this thread, his mismanagement this season of Alcaraz Armstrong, Dibling, O'Brien and arguably Patterson is unforgivable. I don't believe he can any longer take us forward. It's up to TFG to find out who can.He was alright at first, seemed to understand the job and was genuinely happy to be back. Knew he wouldn't be here that long etc but got a chance to right a few wrongs from when he left.
He is undoing all that by being his biggest fan again.
I laughed. But I can almost hear the words coming from the Everton press.Don't forget, we won't have any new signings. Because "it's hard doing that in a world cup summer"
I’m not sure you were paying attention to the last time he was here, it’s what he does. Its even the exact same formation and setup since the Man City game where we were told Rohl was only in to combat the threat of Nico O’Reilly…What’s surprised me the last 2 months is the complete reluctance to rotate the squad. Like, most modern managers have different players and tactics to suit the opposition, whereas Moyes doesn’t. If he was a bit braver and used the squad a bit more we maybe could have picked up a few more points and ended the season a success.
I’ve always been on the side of keeping him but the way the season has fizzled out is so frustrating, can anyone be arsed with another season of that.
