2025/26 David Moyes

That club media guy who does the interviews with Moyes annoys me nearly as much as Moyes does. He can’t do enough to feed lines with excuses and platitudes.
Then when he asks Moyes about the positive impact of Armstrong and George, Moyes has to caveat his praise by saying spurs were dropping off by that point so it was easier for him.
Just get him out.
It kills him to give even the faintest praise to the youngsters. Can’t imagine how motivating it must be to play under such a dour, negative dinosaur

What a thoroughly maddening tit he is. Refuses to compliment a couple of young players playing well, without qualifying it by saying Spurs stood off for the period they played.

Bangs on about needing more depth as if he hasn’t just completely ignored 4 or 5 squad players all season.

This dour sausage needs to be gone tomorrow.

He won’t be, but he needs to be.
Bought - sorry, had the final say on - a pile of players he won't play.

"I need a bigger squad!"

Friedkins being played for imbeciles. Fans for mugs.

Utterly disgraceful. There should have been 3 subs at hafltime. Who cares if we would have lost 3-0? Makes no difference. If we did not go for the win in that 2nd half when we literally had nothing to lose, what is the point? LOVED when Moyes was appointed and thought he did very well for the first 3/4 of the season with AFCON, injuries, etc...

These last several weeks have been absolutely shambolic.

Watched the game with some other people who aren't really well versed and they kept asking, "why doesn't the manager make any changes because the team is doing nothing". Had no reply to them.

I want him gone. That was the only silver lining from this game. Hoping this will force a change. Shameful that I wanted Everton to lose to get Dyche gone and now I am feeling the same with Moyes.
Unbelievable - in the post match press conference he said he does not understand why the fans are frustrated because he kept us up with no worries of relegation.

F I really hate him, please Friedkins sack him.

He's made an absolute mess of the 2nd half of the season, you literally couldn't have made it worse if you tried.

Absolutely shocking team selections, in game management, subs, rotation of squad. Simply not good enough and its a shame TFG and Kinnear and the like look like the kind of Bill Kenwright tribute act we had nightmares about.

The brass neck of talking about not being in a relegation battle, or Europe maybe coming too soon when the likes of Sunderland (who, apart from a 20 minute spell at their ground have played us off the park for the other 2.5 games) have made Europe.

Any other club with an ounce of ambition or standards would be showing him the door no later than tomorrow.
Agree with the rest but still think Dyche could have achieved worse even without trying!

It never sat well with me how he left us, don't doubt he done a decent job from last Jan until the end of the season but that should have been it. We owe him nothing.
His cult are that beholden to him that they ignore that he was talking and meeting with United for months before leaving and lowballing us with a terrible offer for our 2 best players. All whilst saying he wouldn’t have stood in their way if he was manager. Obviously all before calling Everton fans a “disgrace”. I’ll ignore the absolute craven spectacle of him being given a guard of honour to walk out on us. We absolutely owe this fella nothing. Sadly he will still be here at the start of next season but an increasing number are done with his excuses and he doesn’t have his loser in chief protector Bill here anymore.

Last season play off winners to secure promotion after being in League 1 in 2022 after defeating Wycombe Wanderers in the play off final to secure promotion to the Championship in 2022.

The last season they were in the PL prior was the 2016/17 season so they were 9 seasons out of the top flight. They therefore not have the foundations of a PL squad but have built one from the ground floor up and been managed competently by a novice PL manager.

This is what can be achieved with the right attitude and not this defeatist (or realistic as some of those posters would say) attitude. No need for a 3 year plan just to achieve Europe. Congratulations to Sunderland.

The fella is a serial loser. We needed what, 7 points from the last 7 games to have a decent season? The players looked exhausted despite playing once a week whilst others had a substantially more difficult schedule.

Plays the same team constantly after inept performances. Its just a re-run of his first time here, the difference being football has moved on and his dinosaur tactics get exposed week after week. Sick of square pegs in round holes, it is just a repeat of his first tenure.

Hes no better than dyche, constantly laying the blame elsewhere. Hopefully the TFG have some balls and get rid of this manager before we have another stagnant season celebrating being in the Premier league for another season.

Football has moved on from his heyday. There is a reason the likes of Allardyce, Pardew, Pulis, Dyche, Bruce etc have faded into semi retirement or are managing some lower league rubbish. Its that pragmatic, keep it tight lets not get beat first mentality with outdated methods. Spending more time running without the ball in games and defending drills in training.

Just like football evolves and moves on on the pitch. It also does the same off it.

We need to move with the times.

KDH is fine at AM. Dropped off a bit in run in but still statistically a very good signing for 25m considering what else gets signed for big money for basically potential (DIBLING).

Issues are the components around these flair players aren't good enough to finish top 8. Excellent having Grealish but he would've been far more effective with overlapping LB to link up with. Instead he gets Myko who is the polar opposite.

Barry done o.k scoring wise but today he was terrible at holding the ball up and winning free kicks or linking play. That is compulsory away from home and he gave the Spurs backline an incredibly easy time of it.

I think a decent fit would be Castellanos at West Ham. Scored 6 in half a season and should've scored far more. He has workrate and nuisance factor and will surely have a relegation release clause in the deal he signed.

Moyes will probably go in for Bowen but he wasn't great at all for them in second half of the season.
Stopped reading sorry...
