Can't argue with that. Think O'Brien should have been next to Tarkowski or at least played 3 at the back.Agree, losing Branthwaite was a huge blow and Grealish to an extent as he really helped get free kicks up the pitch that gave the defense a breather.
But there were other options, move O’Brien to CB and play a different back four and he just never tried it.
What kind of a mate are you, thick and thin lad thick and thin, don't flip now.oh i was mate but now im wavering badly

That is true, Branthwaite is a top level centerback. But when o Brien has played along side tarks we sit higher up the pitch which allows us to play a higher press and get players along side the lone striker. But O’Brien is nowhere near Branthwaite’s level. If it was as simple as shifting him inside it would have been done.
KDH had a fantastic debut season. But everybody loses form or energy and Doucoure is also a different kind of player. People have a go at him all the time, but he was consistently a very effective player in the Premier League.KDH is fine at AM. Dropped off a bit in run in but still statistically a very good signing for 25m considering what else gets signed for big money for basically potential (DIBLING).
Issues are the components around these flair players aren't good enough to finish top 8. Excellent having Grealish but he would've been far more effective with overlapping LB to link up with. Instead he gets Myko who is the polar opposite.
Barry done o.k scoring wise but today he was terrible at holding the ball up and winning free kicks or linking play. That is compulsory away from home and he gave the Spurs backline an incredibly easy time of it.
I think a decent fit would be Castellanos at West Ham. Scored 6 in half a season and should've scored far more. He has workrate and nuisance factor and will surely have a relegation release clause in the deal he signed.
Moyes will probably go in for Bowen but he wasn't great at all for them in second half of the season.
Think everyone is now squarely in the get rid camp except for the WUMs and rage baiters. The question now is "Do we need to keep David Moyes?"
We all know the answer...well, the sentient among us do.
Yes, because Branthwaite isn’t there when Keane is playing.Sorry mate, he is, when he plays the defence drops off by a good 10 yards.
