Ill be honest i dont want a knee jerk reaction from the club over moyes but if our board/owners aren't really trying to get iraola in then they all need sacking.

It also shows that they are happy for us to just bounce around mid table.

look at how they responded at roma. Mourinho was 1 win outside of the CL spot and they gave him no money for the last two seasons and they gave him the bullet.

De rossi, one of the clubs bighest legends had better form then moyes has with us in the last 5 games and got the sack.

If theres no one better then keep him but Palace with a small squad and going all the way in Europe. While aslo selling their best two players in eze and guehi finished 4 points below us.

Leeds who were battling relegation all season have finished 2 points behind us. Its not good and if theres a better manager out there thats available (and there is) we should be throwing the kitchen sink at them to get them.

You’re right about Iraloa (or Glasner) but what would be knee jerk about it? I know we’ve struggled since Chelsea but Chelsea have since shown to be woefully out of form.

Additionally aside from the subsequent games, our overall performances have been generally poor and the stats bear this out, we were quite lucky to be in the position we were in but ultimately every other performance metric has been the same as the first half of last season or only slightly marginally better. We were given hope of Europe but quite frankly I do not believe our performances (in a cohesive attacking sense) ever deserved it.

For me this is the story of the season generally and not a post Chelsea story in which only the results have deteriorated.

Agree though, you know my stance on Moyes. - but going into the last year of your contract as a manager is undermining. Not helpful for recruitment either. .

Dreadful display, but we`ve had quite a few like it in the run to the end of season. Moyes has turned things around, we went from chasing European football to 13th and going nowhere in the space of about 8 weeks.

Never understood the adulation given the inevitable outcome of disappointment time and time again. Those 90s relegation battles along with club and Echo narratives really wrecked thousands of fans mindsets.
