2025/26 David Moyes

I want referring to net spend, I’m simply pointing out the £400m spend includes players who were subsequently sold, I.e. it includes about 8 defenders, 3 of whom who were sold before the start of last season, so it’s not like they started the season with £400m worth of additional players.
My comment was more in admiration of the way he managed this cycle through players all whilst the club are adding revenue through the player sales. This is what we need to do to help us bridge the gap and I don’t see Moyes as being remotely able to manage this

I 100% agree with that mate.

My issue is when people use net spend like its free money is all.

Also i would drop moyes in a heartbeat to bring in iraola

Want Moyes out even more.

get back to pretending to watch Bolivia's under 18s lad. Its the only way people cant catch you out for knowing sweet fa about football.

Last time i bothered to read your posts you told everyone we should buy ben white for £50m+ and then admitted you'd never actually seen him play.

Moyes did well in his first half a season. He appears to have reverted to type this season which has been underwhelming. For those who argue squad value, squad salaries and recent transfer expenditure, we only have to cast our mind back to the first season after he left first time when our spending was even less than these last couple of years.

The immediate impact of Bobby in that first season was clear as day. Barkley given more game time, a better striker (Lukaku) brought in, a couple astute signings in Barry and McCarthy in midfield, BUT also Baines and Coleman pushed a further 10-15 yards further up the pitch to make them more attacking.

The footballer was better, the results better and final position better. Of course Bobby messed up the next couple of seasons but the difference was noticeable between Moyes and a more progressive manager in that first season alone.

We just need one who can sustain that first season ‘success’
