Getting to the point where he either gets an extension or is let go.

Managers going into their final season on their contract are often lame ducks.

….i don’t think that’s the case here. Zero chance they ‘let him go’ 😄, only Arteta in the betting below him to leave. He’ll at least see out his contract.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Moyes plans to step down from management, it’s such an intense occupation and he’s been in the hot seat at the top-level for a long-time now. He won’t be a lame duck.

I have no insight here, just a feeling this was all agreed when he signed. Wouldn’t be surprised given the job he’s done if the owners are trying to persuade him to stay. Given the improvement in such a short period, especially transitioning to a new stadium it would be ideal if he agrees to another couple of years.

Im one of Moye's biggest critics but fair's fair, he seems to have learned a bit from his square peg round hole craziness and has this starting 11 playing very well and working hard for each other. It helps that we are only having to play every two weeks but that is the hand we have been dealt and we are taking advantage of it. Yesterday was the marquee win Ive been hoping for. Great feeling!
If he REALLY wants to win us ALL over, he has the perfect opportunity...Liverpool at home. I watched Liverpool lose their tenth game this season to Brighton and thought " this Liverpool team is very ordinary and are fragile, this is ours and Moyes' chance to show we really can be good." Cmon Davy, make me a believer:)))
If he keeps up the way he's going now for 7 games and puts the rs to the sword I'm prepared to move my
'Moyes-o-meter' from 'having doubts' to a grudging temporary 'a provisional maybe'

I wondered if one of the Freidkins were at the match on Saturday as he kept looking up (well 3 times) to the directors box when we scored. I hadn't noticed him do that before. He was really animated when the 3rd one went in.
