2025/26 David Moyes

100% agree.

It's a bit pathetic. The usual suspects have a hit list of posters they'd rather torment than enjoy Everton winning a game. Lol.

Imagine that.

He's not though is he?

When do we see Rohl, Aznou, Dibling?

How is that 'utilising the squad' when about £80M worth of talent is being ignored?

Hels getting very decent quality players behind the ball and asking them to work hard and sacrificing cup competitions in order to make sure there's no undermining of energy levels for the Pl in order to achieve a decent position in the table.

A better manager utilises all our players to do much more.

It took you all of 8minutes between feeling sad that a poster might torment another poster, to you throwing that out there to wind up half the Forum..

He's not out of contract in the summer, is he?

No one's going to poach him, so let's just see where we are this time next year and make a decision then.
I would say December this year so if we change manager they get the January transfer window. Unless we have a really poor end to the season and end up 12th or below in which case there's a decision to be made in the summer.

I’ve give him s*** a few times, but i eat my words.
These are the kind of posts I like seeing and respect on the Forum. Whatever the subject might be, whichever side you might be sitting on, it shows there is still normal humanity out there.

Owning your opinion, No swinging in circles for some strange need to be "Right"
leaving the door open for it to possibly change.

Really interesting time now. Moyes has stabilised us brilliantly but I've said all season and do still feel that he isn't the man for the long term. But if he gets Europe, he's definitely earned next season.

The big thing for me is, has he changed at all? Because in the past, whenever we've haf a big opportunity,we/Moyes have [Poor language removed] ourselves. And make no mistake, this is an absolutely huge opportunity now. Europe in some form is a distinct probability and four points or more from our next two games and even the Champions League is possible. If Moyes reverts to type, goes conservative and we bottle it, that'll be decision made as far as I'm concerned, but if he can take the bull by the horns and drive us on, he's got to be here next season.

Were you saying at the start of the season that only geting Europe would be acceptable?

No, but circumstances change. If you'd said the league would be this condensed at the start of the season, it wouldn't have been expected.

It's also not all about results. Style of play, development of young players, general attitude of the team are all a part of it and at times where I think Moyes has been lacking but fair play to him, things are looking good at the moment.
