2025/26 David Moyes

Let him have next season in peace and see what he wants to do in 2027.

Personally I’d be more than happy if he were to move upstairs into a DoF type role if he no longer wants to coach.

I can understand that after yesterday’s excellent performance & win, (which has been a long time coming), & with the possibility of Europe, everyone is rightfully feeling up, but at some point, (in the near future I hope), we need to move on from the Kenwright/Moyes times.

Moyes has done & is doing well & all credit to him, but he isn’t the manager who is going to attract the players or establish a progressive style of play to compete at the top.

Kenwright is dead mate. We have moved on.
Lets get in an up and coming manager with all the new coaching lingo in . Someone like Liam Rosenior perhaps. Or maybe one who has looked very good on the continent like Amorin. We would thrive and prosper then. Or maybe lets stick with the one who has us on the verge of Champions league spots and who took over a club who was on its arse.

Big result for him and the club yesterday. If we'd lost, 12th was looking likely. Let's see if we can carry forward the passion and commitment shown yesterday for the rest of the season. The league is very tight, so it would be daft to jump to any conclusions one way or the other, although that hasn't stopped most posters on here saying what a terrible or amazing job he's doing.

Good morning to you too, Sir. But wtf was your preview? I was most looking forward to reading it and very disappointed that you let us down.

Any chance of a witty description of the Chelsea manager or that odd haircut #10 player to make up for the lack of the preview?

Thanking you in advance from a land far far away.
I done one you monster, on the front page of the site. I wouldn’t bother though.

I don’t get why he needs an extension. He is already contracted for next season & he isn’t going to get poached no matter how good some on here think he is.

TFG were happy for Dyche to see out his contract so from a business perspective they could wait & see how next season progresses & then make a decision.

You could argue it would help (or possibly hinder) the summer transfer business but realistically Moyes isn’t here for an extended period so can’t see it would actually make that much difference.

I think it matters to players alot.

If your manager isnt even secure in their place as manager why would you feel secure in your place as a player in the clubs project.

Yup, one of the other lads pointed me in the right direction, thank you.

Not a bad read although I do think you held back a bit on their "copy and paste" manager. What did you make of the half time thing,? Apparently their manager said that the players have to wait and follow the captain into the changing rooms. But the captain was busy having a whinge at the ref, so all the players were hanging round like naughty schoolboy outside the headmaster office.

So at what point do we move on from Moyes. He isn’t immortal (as far as I am aware).
