2025/26 David Moyes

In a game you deem must win, you think a manager would abandon the tactics which have his team 11 wins and in 8th position and try something completely new? Hardly like we’re in the bottom 3 and unable to win a point.

Makes absolutely zero sense.
It’s nuts isn’t it? They think Moyes actually wants us to draw. We don’t have great attacking talent and are at our best playing on the counter attack so the most probable way of us winning, especially against an opposition with good players, is to keep it tight, don’t over commit and knick a goal. It’s not like Moyes has great attacking options that he is purposely leaving out.

love that the Moyesiah is speaking out, while our owners are silent

cue VAR decision against us

but fcuk the corrupt premier league, and may other team managers and chairmen join in the chorus of protest and questioning
I dont mind the owners being neither seen nor heard in the public domain in all honesty. I think of the car crash owners over the last few decades and the common characteristic is their love of the limelight.

That being said I think a public statement to the correct media outlets would be welcome while this is fresh in the memory

Erm we literally bummed Arsenal off the park last week mate, just if you've forgotten.
Great stuff.
What did we gain from it?
A pat on the back for Moyes from his old pal Arteta.

These hard luck stories need to be banished. We need to find a way of beating teams with more regularity than the odd desperate defending 1-0 win.

That said, have a go at Chelsea tonight and we’ll turn them over as they aren’t all that at all.

I’m just pointing out that we played a big team and we didn’t play with fear. We were by far the better side for 80 minutes.

moshiri talking to Jim white epitomizes this
and of cuz bill before him

agree prefer deeds over words
and lets hope our new owners just keep backing the club with investment and savvy biz decisions

The only way that’s going to happen is if we buy better players. I don’t know why people expect us to regularly beat teams that are clearly a lot better than us. All of the players on the Arsenal bench last week would be first choices for us and very few of our starting 11 would get in their squad, yet Moyes is expected to come up with a tactical plan to beat such teams regularly and to do so playing free flowing football. It’s madness.
