When you look at Spurs, Forest and West Ham shaping up for a big relegation run in we must be thankful for Moyes. Can sit back and enjoy this one whilst debating whether we attack well enough and what European competition we might make.

Enjoy our improvement (if not some of our play) and trust the owners to make a change when they think right
Don't forget not giving our subs enough of a run out when we are cruising to a home win. An absolutely despicable offense.

Yeah or swap Beto for Lukaku which, I think, is a slightly more important variable than imaginary stabilisers.
Yes and no. One man is not the team. The Lineker year was great but we won nothing. Unlike the year before and the year after. Lukaku was not a patch on Lineker and far from the sole reason we had a decent season, but an important contributor.

Mark my words. If Dibling and Aznou succeed next year the usual suspects will claim it is despite Moyes not because of him and will claim they should have played more this season. These people are demented. What normal person complains about the manager's substitutions in relation to a routine 2-0 home win. Cranks and virgins the lot of em.
Ha ha, you're angry about things that haven't happened yet and that nobody has reacted to. You've even called these imaginary future posters names. I love how furious you are all of the time, Kev, even about things that are made up entirely by yourself.

He said stuff like that when he was appointed, going on about his age etc, but his actions suggest he has longer term ambitions to me. He’s got too many of his appointees in the recruitment and football ops team to be entering his last 12 months next season imo.

Besides his arl fella was still scouting etc well into his 70s so can’t see Moyes jnr wanting to hang up his cardy any time soon.
Excellent. In Moyes we trust.

May have exaggerated a little, but have seen suggestions on here that he should get a contract extension for as long as he wants & that he should be up for manager of the season if he gets 8th.

I think he has done great results & points wise although the football & setup is not to my taste. My concern is the lack of any discernible patterns or styles of play & his failure to develop the squad outside of his preferred eleven which was also an issue first time around so I would be surprised if that changes.

If there is the mooted £200m to spend in the summer there is going to be an issue as Moyes will want premiership experience which leads us down the Moshiri path we have just recovered from or we buy younger players to develop as per the stated strategy & Moyes doesn’t play them.
You can only play so many young players.
Apart from Tarks and Gana, the average age of the squad has come well down. Barry is 22 and Armstring 19.
I think Moyes will play young players, if he thinks they can do job.

I think our average age starting 11 is one of oldest
AI says: For the 2025/26 season, Everton currently has the oldest average starting XI in the Premier League at 28.49 years. Under manager David Moyes, the team has relied heavily on a veteran core including Idrissa Gueye (36), James Tarkowski (33), and Michael Keane (33).
Despite this, the club's broader squad age is 26.6 years, indicating that while the starting lineup is experienced, there is a younger supporting cast waiting in the wings.

Nah, Moyes will go down the Premier League quality path, which guarantees a higher finish.
