2025/26 David Moyes

A functioning adult using AI to make up ridiculous stuff to post on a thread about a football manager they hold a grudge against for 13 years.
What an existence.
It’s almost as peculiar as reducing yourself to a rage-baited, beetroot-cheeked, aneurysm waiting to happen, who would prefer to rant at a stranger on the internet than simply use the ignore feature.

Now THATS an existence.

I have the feeling Moyes will resign if we don't get into Europe. Something he said in his post match press conference about a new manager bringing good football to the Hill Dickinson suggested to me he's only here until either his contract is up or if he can't have a final swansong season which involves European football. Might of misinterpreted what he said but it seemed to me he was basically saying he's not here for the long haul

why would he want to resign?

no valid reason to

2 factors involved...if the TFG can't get Fabregras to leave Como, then he'll probably be here next season.

@Curtis I personally think it would be harsh IF he got us into Europe and was replaced.

Very harsh.
His role was to introduce stability and steady progression so I think if he delivered Europe he served his purpose and should be appreciated for his efforts, a better suited manager that can evolve the club especially in regards to European football and the cups , along with developing youth players should be procured. That's just my stance

I think pretty much everyone - whatever their stance - would be surprised if that happened.

That said, given he was only a contingency choice mid-season last year - and there are expected to be a lot of managers available this summer - if any of their previous long-term targets become available then who knows?

That was a peculiar comment from him. I took it to mean after his contract was done but it was an out of character comment from him.
