David Moyes is the 15th full time manager of Everton since in the inception of the premier league. In that 15 Moyes and Kendall were here twice, but given the PL has been going for over 30 years, only Royle, Allardyce and Moyes (twice) can claim the club is in a better state at the end of their time (in Moyes case current on the 2nd time) than when they found them. Meaning 11 managers failed us and in some cases miserably.

….that was a very Dyche-like performance and delighted Moyes alluded to that in his post-match interview. Turning these draws into wins makes such a difference, especially during two games when your closest competitors fail to pick up a point.

I thought it was a sensible, pragmatic and low-risk appointment and it’s so far, so good.
