I'm lamenting the shift in player type, not Gibson in particular (who, btw, was massively under rated when he came here but quickly demonstrated his quality on the ball).

Imo, the Koeman era will be marked by player acquisitions who will be a) costly, b ) athletic, c) not necessarily having a lot of individual ball skills and/or vision. We will be an expensively assembled Palace type club. That will get us a lot of decent-to-good results, but it wont get us a team that will be able to pile up those extra points required when power doesn't find a way through and only guile can do it.

For the last 30 + years the vast majority of our players have been a bit ****. Whoever we sign have got be better than the relegated Wigan rejects the Spanish whooper signed.

that is the best post I've ever read.

not ITK but the reason why he was given a new contract was to hold his transfer value. Club knew teams were interested.... Not if he's sold the club right to extend his deal.

From crocks who like a pint to actual athletes you mean?

Behave Dave, this is getting beyond ridiculous.

Not too bothered if we get a fee for Gibson of not just glad to get him off the books permanently.

As for Bryan hopefully we get a decent fee and invest that money into the youth signings.

Didn't Leicester win the league on this style ?

I can't believe there are still people on here who want to promote the positive attributes of this binge-drinking, sick-noted, cyclist smashing waste of skin. Get out of my club, don't let the door hit you on the way out, never come back. Disgrace of a man.

Yerrsssssss I've missed this

It's a shame he's so injury prone, he has really delicate feet but they are used far too few times thanks to injuries. Hope Sunderland at least gets a sniff of what he's like.
